Engineered Production Equipment, Inc. is excited to announce our newly designed Transdermal CutPack Line (CPL), a turnkey line of customizable equipment modules for cutting and packaging transdermal patches and thin film wearable products. The CPL features a modular design that allows for easy configuration of the machine to meet your production requirements. This design also provides a much simpler upgrade path to accommodate your future production demands.
Transdermal CutPack Line Features
EPE currently offers two models of our transdermal CutPack Line–an intermittent system for clinical-scale to medium production volumes, and a continuous system for higher volume demands. The CPL 900 is highly customizable, so just let us know what you need and we’ll provide you with a machine that meets those requirements.
The CPL includes two modules that can be selected, configured, or swapped out based on your requirements. The die-cutting module is the main processing machine, producing thin-film products based on the stations and features that you select. There are several available stations to choose from, various options for each station that will allow you to get a machine that fits your specific transdermal patch or wearable product. The packaging module then receives and packages the products in heat-sealed pouches. This module can be configured to produce a range of permanent or peelable seals, based on your needs.
Additional Applications of the CPL
EPE’s CutPack Line is well suited for producing transdermal patches. Additionally, the CutPack Line of equipment can produce and process a wide range of different thin-film materials into finished products, mainly for the medical and healthcare industries. Some of those additional products include:
- Wearable / Epidermal Devices
- Electrodes (EKG, ECG and TENS)
- Transparent Film Dressings (TFDs)
- Oral Thin Film Strips (OTFs)
- Filter Products
- Wound Care Dressings (wet and dry)
