CONTROLS ENGINEERING

Our engineers at EPC use the latest in controls techniques and equipment to provide the best sensors with closely matched machine/materials movements. INSTALLATION, SERVICE & SUPPORT
Equipment is thoroughly inspected by a team of in-house professionals and you – the customer. Strict standards for quality and productivity must be met before acceptance. Engineered Production Equipment, Inc., was established in February 1983, to design and build custom production equipment. Over the past several years EPE has built a variety of equipment specializing in both continuous web and intermittent web processes. As the demand for packaging equipment increased, EPE began manufacturing a standard packaging line using the expertise gained in producing custom pouching equipment. With optional accessories and new models available, EPE is able to meet the specialized packaging needs of our customer's products and has become a respected name in the packaging industry.

EPE has grown from a machine shop with five craftsmen and two designer/engineers into a company employing a team of more than twenty craftsmen, technicians, and professionals, with sales in excess of four million dollars per year.

In 1990 EPE began to solicit custom controls and programming work. Quickly realizing the unlimited potential, and to better serve our customers in this area, we introduced Engineered Production Controls in 1993. With a decade of industry experience, EPC has entered a new century as a leader in systems integration. EPC works with the latest technology and has successfully applied a variety of drive systems, servo motion control, programmable controllers, machine vision systems, industrial computers, stand alone controllers, bar code readers and printers, bowl feed systems, laser gauging systems, operator interface terminals, and RF identification systems.
